Did you notice there is no noise? Our butterflies are silent because there is no motor. They use an amazing technology called Flexinol. It is a type of metal that changes its shape depending on temperature. Electricity heats the wire which causes it to change to a shape that moves the wings to a vertical position.

There are two types of moving butterflies available, a plug-in only type that plugs into a wall outlet and a more versatile USB type that can plug into a wall outlet via a USB fast charger or can be run via AA or rechargeable batteries (the charger and batteries are not included).
